The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office is excited to host a home preservation canning course that will be open to the youth of Matagorda County.
Food preservation education guides youth to explore and understand the science and math of safe food preservation.
The course is open to all skill levels going into grades 4th to 8th.
No prior knowledge or experience is required.
The event will be held on July 18 at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church at 5701 7th Street, Bay City, TX. 77414.
The course will be led by our local Matagorda County Family & Community Health Agent, Dianne Gertson.

The cost is $20 and can be paid by credit, debit, cash, or check/money order made out to “LAB”.
